25 Things I Did This Week

In the spirit of this whole 25 Things phenomena that’s sweeping the Internets, I’ve decided to launch a weekly blog post – 25 things I did this week. You could just follow my tweets, but if you didn’t and you are so pumped about the exciting life of Wesley Donehue that you can’t go on not know what I did this week, this is for you:

1.    Watched last week’s Diggnation. Definitely something you should be watching every week.

2.    Updated PNN every morning this week.

3.    Got a little perturbed at Will Folks’ accusations that I don’t run a swell news aggregator.

4.    Wrote a blog post about how Will uses T&A to blow up his hits.

5.    Tweeted a lot for the Senate Caucus.

6.    Picked up a new web client…announcement coming soon.

7.    Finished up a new website for my first SC association.  Pumped about that.

8.    Got jacked that The State is featuring #sctweets on their political page.

9.    Attended the Senate Caucus fundraiser on Wednesday night.

10.    Also attended the Clarion Town House reception on Wednesday night.

11.    Ate at a BBQ lunch hosted by the SC Baptist Convention with a few State Reps I helped elect this year – Mike Forrester, Derham Cole, George Hearn, and Tom Young. Also saw my pastor Dr. Wendell Estep and FBC Music Director Steve Phillips.

12.    Upgraded www.youngforhouse.com with Adrienne and Lauren’s help.

13.    Updated stories and videos for Senator Glenn McConnell…again, with Adrienne and Lauren’s help.

14.    Followed Senator DeMint this week on Twitter as he laid out his conservative jobs plan.

15.    Helped Senators Fair, McConnell, Grooms, Cromer, Martin, and Rankin with a few news items.

16.    Attended my first Committee meeting and then attended four more.

17.    Listened to Superintendent Jim Rex give a presentation to the Education Committee.

18.    Listen to SC DOT Director Buck Limehouse address the Senate Transportation Committee.

19.    May or may not have worn brown socks with a black suit.

20.    Watched Katon Dawson nearly take the RNC Chairmanship.

21.    Watched The Office and laughed my butt off.

22.    Drove to Aiken with Elizabeth and ate dinner at Takosushi with Senator Massey, Blair, and their beautiful new daughter Carter.

23.    Watched this week’s Diggnation and was convinced by Kevin Rose to buy Tweetie for my iPhone. Yes, it is far superior to any other iPhone app.

24.    Read some more love for #sctweets.

25.    Read Elizabeth’s quotes in The State.
