Press Stunt: A Blog & A Tent

The Democratic South Carolina bloggers behind IndigoJournal.com have been working hard to push their “Sanfordville” Tent City press stunt around the web. But will all Internet activity gain the mainstream media attention they are seeking to ding Governor Mark Sanford up a bit?

Today I took a short road trip out to Sanfordville during my lunch break to see what all the hype was about and to meet a few of those Democratic bloggers I’ve been linking over at PNN.

Here’s what I found:

So were the Dems successful in snagging the press?  WIS and WLTX both broadcasted live from Sanfordville at 5, 6, and 7. I’d say that’s pretty successful. It’s amazing what you can do with a blog and a tent.

    I was using a very small flip video camera. It wasn’t too bad. My eyes never left the road =)
