I’m in the zone. My mind is in the right place. I’m healthy.

After a nasty bike crash and a week on the road, I’m finally back to my normal workout schedule. I’m absolutely mentally and physically exhausted from an intense work schedule so I’m using my workouts as my “relaxation” time – my escape from the rest of the world. I know, working out isn’t that relaxing. It’s just the opposite. But it gives my brain an escape from all the bullshit that is work and politics.

Just a quick thank you to all my buddies who read this and who keep me accountable, especially my F3 brothers, all the triathletes I’ve been reaching out to lately and my Frothy partner Steve who is jumping into some of this craziness with me.

DIET:

I’m eating mostly ketogenic – high fats, lots of meats and veggies. No carbs or sugar. I have a cheat day on Saturdays for crap food. I’m trying to only drink beer on Saturdays. The rest of the week I’m either not drinking at all or drinking vodka water with the occasional straight tequila shot.
