You guys… our recent collab could be the most Charleston-y thing we’ve ever done.
Recently, our buddies at Anson Mills partnered up with Middleton Place to grow a special variety of Carolina Gold Rice right on the historic plantation. Then once the rice was harvested, we used the cereal to brew a beer for the Piccolo Spoleto finale.
Fun fact, Arthur Middleton signed the Declaration of Independence, which made naming this Golden Ale a no brainer. We’ve dubbed it the Declaration Draft.
At 5.5%, this Golden Ale is light and crisp with a hoppy nose supplied by a healthy dose of East Kent Golding hops. Watch the video below to learn more about Frothy Beard’s latest brew.
