I’ve recommitted to blogging but it was just one of those weeks where I could barely keep my head above water. I got LASIK surgery on Monday and now I can see unaided for the first time since I was a teenager. I woke up Tuesday with nearly perfect vision. It’s like magic.
Elizabeth had not spent one day or night alone since Harlowe was born over two years ago so I put her up in a swanky Charleston hotel, she booked two days at a spa and I took Harlowe. Time alone with Harlowe is a lot of fun, but the kid is like a a category five hurricane, destroying everything in his path. If I turn away for two seconds he’s doing something like the picture above.
With my “free time” I helped raise a ton of cash for Marco and our other candidates for the end of the quarter deadline. We had major projects for our largest corporate client. And it was GOP primary week for our New York candidates. So yeah… little time for Push or personal blogging.
You aren’t supposed to workout for four days after LASIK surgery, but I was able to get in two good ones this week. I also blew my food and alcohol diets this week. Hard training begins on July 5th.

Mental Training: Yes
Booze: Three beers
Food: Blew my diet to hell
Workout: 1 hour bootcamp led by me
