I could not be more impressed by the wisdom contained within its pages. This book, as well as his other stoic books such as The Obstacle Is The Way and Ego Is The Enemy, highlight the importance of self-discipline and how it is essential to achieving success in life. Ryan Holiday uses powerful stories and anecdotes to illustrate his points and make them more memorable.
Discipline is everything. It’s the foundation of all self-improvement. Thus it is the very first skill you must learn, adopt, and perfect. You can do anything with discipline.
