I said I was done with self-help books but I have at least two more for you. This one is a must-read for folks wanting to take their lives to the next level, and then the level after that. Mark Evans Dm, the Deal Maker, is my new mentor. I have recently joined his mastermind group and it’s already starting to change my life after just a couple of months. Yes, there are many actionable items I am learning but the biggest takeaway is simply surrounding myself with new people who are doing much bigger things than I am. It’s truly inspiring and my brain has been on fire since meeting these men last month.

I learned something valuable on my first day with these men and it’s the ultimate lesson of this book. I learned that I do not have a business. I have a job. As Mark would say, I’m a mule. I’m working too hard day in and day out and not seeing my big dreams come true. Sure, things are going great. I have a lot of money in the bank, I’m growing my assets, I love my house and my car and I’m able to put my kids in private school. Still, I’m working my ass off and not getting to the next level. It would be like running an extra twenty miles every week but not picking up any time in a marathon. In fact, I could actually lose time by working so hard, yet so dumb.

So how do you get out of that rut and go from being a mule to making magic happen as a magician? This book gives you actionable steps to follow without all the bullshit fluff found in most books of this genre. I definitely recommend it to all of you finding yourself in my situation.
