My weekly fitness updates haven’t been so weekly lately. I know you all miss me talking about myself, right? You wake up every morning yearning for my fitness update post so you know exactly how my body feels. It’s okay to admit it. You’re weird like that.
If you’re not my wife or one of my F3 brothers, you probably don’t give two shits about these posts. But maybe you should. You can learn something from me and if you respond, I can learn something from you. That’s what I need right now. I need to learn from you because I’m having a real hard time putting together my workout routine.
2/4 – Folly Beach Half Marathon
2/11 – GORUCK Double Light

2/26 – GORUCK Gun Course (not a fitness event)
3/12 – Asheville Marathon
3/24 – Palmetto 200 Ultra team

I have long runs including a marathon and an ultra marathon relay. That requires a lot of running. I have GORUCK events, including a Heavy and a Heavy Heavy, both of which will be grueling and require a lot of ruck time and lifting. Then I start my triathlons and currently I have ZERO swim experience and I don’t even own a bike yet.
So, right now I need to be:
6. Yoga (helps prevent injury)
I’m easing up on the running because I feel pretty good. Right now it’s just about maintenance and not losing ground. I have to get more time under the ruck and I must continue lifting. Pretty much NOW I must start swimming three times a week.
Guys, I just don’t know how to fit it all in. I’m mentally prepared. I’ll work out three times a day. I don’t give a shit. I just can’t find the time. And honestly, I’m stressed as hell about it.
If you have any advice you’re willing to give on how I should balance all this, please let me know. Your advice is appreciated.
