How does a little firm from [way] outside the beltway with a brewery and a team full of quirky millennials consistently add big names to the most powerful governing body on the planet?
Simple. We know campaigns and we know digital.
Push Digital sits outside the DC social bubble, in Charleston, South Carolina. We’re not a “superfirm” stacked with heavyweight consultants who have the ability to throw our muscle around. We don’t have powerful friends or relatives who sit in positions of influence. Shit, we rarely even showcase our political work out of deference to not hog our clients’ limelight.
But we still elect Senators. Cycle in. Cycle out.
Why are we so successful? We operate in the “Goldilocks zone” of digital. We’re old enough to have real-world campaign experience, but young enough to have the hustle, the drive and the proven digital expertise to deliver at the highest level.
Let me break this down:
“America is all about speed. Hot, nasty, badass speed.” – Will Ferrell
This past April, we launched Tommy Tuberville’s bid for Alabama Senate. Not only will Tommy win, he is going to be a star in the upper chamber. Coach Tommy’s team called us at 4pm on a Friday and needed to launch a U.S. Senate campaign the following Monday. Here’s how the “Goldilocks zone” comes into play: The Push Digital team was experienced enough to understand the magnitude of the undertaking and know every element that needed to be completed, and we were young and energetic enough to damn the torpedoes, work through the weekend and get it done fast! Our partners and clients can always rely on us to get things done with diligence and precision.
Burnt Fingers, Ask For Tongs
Every campaign is different, but you see enough of them and muscle memory kicks into gear. Again, we’re in the “Goldilocks zone” with institutional knowledge of how big, competitive races need to be executed. We’re a team who’s managed (literally) hundreds of digital campaigns and has refined the process. The procedural integrity of this team is tight because we’ve done it over and over again. We’ve seen what has worked, what has failed and learned lessons along the way. I promise your 50+ year-old TV media guy who “does digital” has no idea why we used a particular emoji in social copy and doesn’t keep an archive of UTM codes. Every move is strategically made because we’re constantly revising our methods and adding to the algorithm that is Push Digital.
Talent Wins Games. Teamwork Wins Championships.
I don’t want the title of this article to give you the wrong impression. We work to elect U.S. Senators as part of a team of very talented, very specialized consultants. But one of the reasons we’ve been able to be a part of these incredible races is our commitment to being team players and offering the very best of our talents to the whole group. It’s always my goal for everyone on the campaign—staff and consultants included—to walk into Election Day knowing “Push Digital hustled their ass off and delivered for me.”
