Norse Mythology

Wesley's Review

Oh man, I’m about twelve book reviews behind. It’s been election season, so I’ve been head down writing strategy memos and ad scripts instead of reviews.

For real though, are these helpful or am I just wasting time? I don’t want to post all of these just so it’s like “hey look, I read a book.” But if you’re finding helpful stuff, I’ll keep posting. Let me know what you think, please.

Ok let’s roll…

Go beyond the MCU and read the stories that inspired Marvel’s beloved characters. Neil Gaiman, one of my favorite authors who you may know from Netflix’s The Sandman, retells the stories of Thor, Loki, Odin, and all your favorite Asghardians.

Thor is a bit dumber and Loki is even more troublesome. I enjoyed reading stories of minor MCU characters like Sith, Fenrir and Eitri.

This was a great read to step away from reality when I needed a break from self-help, business, and tech books. Oh, and politics.
