Hanes is considered one of the best, if not the best, backcountry bow hunter in the world. His goal is to be the ultimate predator, able to go deeper into the woods than every other hunter because of his physical prowess.

While I’m no hunter, you know I’m a hardcore endurance junkie, so I follow Hanes religiously. As I get older I look to Hanes as the model I want to be. He’s 54 years old, jacked and still running 100 mile ultras.

While most get fatter and slower with age, Hanes seems to only be getting better. That’s what I want.

I loved this book from start to finish. Like Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins this a great book for anyone who needs a stern kick in the ass to get moving. Cam Hanes is a real inspiration who proves that athletic endeavors aren’t just for the youngsters.
