I’m joined by GOP operative Matt Dailer fresh off his big win as campaign manager getting US Senator Chuck Grassely re-elected in Iowa.  Today Matt is joined by his lovely wife Julia who also happens to be a political operative. You can tell Matt has some strong backup, which most winners do.

Matt Dailer entered politics in his home state of West Virginia as a field organizer during the 2012 Presidential Election. In the 2014 cycle, he served as State Director during the election of West Virginia’s first female senator – Shelley Moore Capito. After her successful election, he became Executive Director of the state party and not long after joined the Republican National Committee in Washington, D.C. His role was to help train political staff across the country before becoming the National Field Director and later, Deputy Political Director for the committee. Most recently he served as campaign manager for Iowa’s Senior Senator, Chuck Grassley, helping re-elect him to his 8th term in the US Senate.
